Emailing Posts to WOVFAB

Hi everybody, I was testing the possibility to email posts to our bookclub website. In order to set-up your account to email posts you have to go to the WOVFAB Settings link on the right side of our webpage. From there choose the "Settings" tab on the top of the page, and then choose "Email". Blogger will provide you with a partial email address where you can send your posts. Remember to click on "Publish" if you want your posts to be published immediately. Then "Save Settings" and then "Republish" the website. You should be set.
One thing though, it seems email posts don't work from the Gmail website or from Calmail. I suspect all Webclients pose a problem for Blogger. Also, apparently you can’t email images to the website (maybe this is the problem with web servers). But plain text emails from Outlook or Eudora or an FTP site should work. Good luck,

I'm for Tales of the City. I think after the less than roaring success of Vineland that a nice quick read is just the thing....and I have a copy.

email notices

I setup the website so that you'll each get an email every time anyone posts. Let me know if you'd prefer not to be included in the email list and check the website on your own. Before I figured out i could do this though, I posted the book club suggestions for the next meeting on Wednesday, March 23 so check them out.

First WOVFAB website entry ever!!

OK, so I thought we could give a website a try. It might just be a huge failure but who cares, it's free. I thought maybe we could post book suggestions for club and individual reading, comments , complaints, etc, whatever. No pressure.
