This Wednesday...

Don't forget, we have bookclub this Wednesday, 6pm at Triple Rock. Come prepared with book suggestions, of course, but also with you chronological memories of which books we've read so far. I want to add a page of "Books we've read" to our webpage.

See you soon,

Giovanna

Pynchon on the Simpsons - Twice!

Okay, it's been more than once that Thomas Pynchon has been on the Simpsons:

http://www.themodernword.com/pynchon/ketzan_simpsons.htm

and I just recently saw this episode:
http://www.themodernword.com/pynchon/pynchon_news.html#simpsons2

and, probably because I didn't finish reading the book, I did not get the joke.

And the Winner is....

Tales of the City by Armistead Maupin. Make sure you get your book soon. We decided to meet Wednesday 23 so there's only three weeks until the next book club.

Happy reading!

Giovanna
